BIN DAWOOD GROUP HISTORY
This is the story of our family business and how we have striven everyday to do the best we can for our customers. It has been more than 50 years since the Bin Dawood Group started from the trading of Arabic perfumes, incense, gold, and handicrafts. It is a business built on strong Islamic values.
For the first 25 years, we worked hard to establish Our Brand and build up a strong Retail Business in Islam's holiest cities—Makkah and Madinah- by ensuring that everything we have done and still do is driven by a never ending ambition to improve our customers’ shopping experience. This ambition led to the opening of Bin Dawood's first supermarket in Shisha, Makkah, and the KSA in 1984.
